Niall Horan Adds Portugal Festival To String Of 2023 Summer Shows

Niall Horan has revealed that he will play at the MEO Sudoeste festival in Portugal next summer. In 2023, Niall is scheduled to perform at eight festivals. Niall will also return to Portugal for a live performance for the first time since his “Flicker” global tour in 2018.

The concerts for MEO Sudoeste, which is in its 25th year, will start on August 3 and end on August 12. On August 9, the former member of One Direction will perform as the opening act alongside the legendary DJ David Guetta.

This declaration follows the Irish native’s revelation that he intends to play festivals all throughout the summer of 2019 and may go on tour to promote his upcoming (yet-to-be-announced) third album. On his TikTok page, he has also been directly teasing his followers with new music by playing a portion of an unreleased song. This was followed by another video of him chuckling while informing supporters that they haven’t heard any new music yet.

With a number of summer performances, it appears likely that Niall will release new music before the spring. So let’s hope! Any new album will mark Niall’s first since his hugely popular collaboration with Anne-Marie, “Our Song,” which reached at number 13 on the UK Charts in 2021. With his sophomore album “Heartbreak Weather,” Niall achieved his first UK chart-topping position in 2020, just before the end of the world.

As previously announced, Niall won’t just be performing at MEO Sudoeste next summer. Additionally, he has sets slated at Electric Picnic, PinkPop, Isle of Wight Festival, Stavernfestivalen, TRNSMT Festival, Colours of Ostrava, and Sziget Festival.
