Faithless, a member of Maxi’s band, stated: “They are heartbroken to say Maxi Jazz passed away last night. The musician was a man who profoundly altered our lives.

The iconic soul singer was listed as an associate director on the official Crystal Palace football club account, which also stated that they were “mourning” the passing of the “great musician.”
